My car was stolen in April. When my insurance was up in October, the company I was with (who made me wait 3 months before the claim of 1500 was sorted out) quoted me a price of 2200. I thought i would have to stay with them because I thought I was obliged to. Thankfully when I rang my Brokers they got me the much cheaper quote of 1350. I had made loads of enquiries myself and this was the cheapest quote I could get. I was not asked if I had incurred any penalty points on my license, which I havent anyway.
