I've been a named driver since I was 17 and had a full license since I was 18. I've never put a scratch on a car. I own a 1.3i Suzuki Cultus (Jap Swift) and I am unable to get a quote of less than £2000, some quotes over £3000, all third party F+T of course. Because of this I have to register my car in my dad's name and stay a named driver which is downright insulting and degrading at 22 years of age. What really pisses me off though is that I got quotes (out of curiosity) for my girlfriend, same age, full license, no crashes, and It was less than half the price of any quote I've ever gotten. If you sexually discriminated like that in the workplace, you'd be fired, and possible prosecuted. Somebody seriously needs to shovel the Bullshit out of the insurance industry in this country !!!. I'll let all my mates down here in cork know about this site. I doubt there'd be any probs organising a protest here. Dear Sir, Firstly, thank you for taking the giant leap!
