Emails received by the campaign Dear Sir, I came Across you website this morning, I am 17years old and for two years i had been counting down the days till i could go down to the tax office and apply for my provisional licence, i have had full lessons,and have just applied for my test, god knows how long i will be waiting for that. however earlier this year our mum died, she had been driving a 999cc 1998 seat ibiza, i had always planned to go as named driver on her policy as it would be very cheap, on a family plan, when the time came we went to two brokers, the first one told us that nobody would Quote me, the second also told us the same but to try pmpa, they said they would insure me for 1 year third party for £5500-£6000, My sister is now going away for 1 year , she drives a 1992 ford fiesta, under her policy third party they said ,for seven months ,as her policy is up in july, and i planned to start in january, it would cost £1800 . i am so frustrated at moment why cant we get a start? yesterday i sent a letter to the department of trade enterprise and employment,over the matter and am waiting for a reply from them,on their views. i would love to support you in any events that might be taking place soon, has their be any progress lately in reducing the price for young drivers, i would love to hear from you, with any information at all, thanks very much Hi I am 17 live in dublin and hold a full licence. i was recently shocked when i was quoated 4250 for insurance on a 800cc fiat car. is there any way in the word i can get it cheaper? is there any insurance company who give special rate for classic cars with limited milage? please help!!!!!!
