Emails received by the campaign I am a 19 year old male from Limerick who recently got a job as a Sales Rep for a Chemical company and work from my bike at the moment. The reason I work from my bike is because when I tried to get insurance on a 1L 1993 Opel Corsa, I could not even get a quote. When I eventually managed to get a quote it was for £3,250, nearly twice the value of the car. I have been driving as a named driver under my father for three years on a 1.8L Opel Vectra, I have not crashed once or been fined for any offences and passed my driving test over a year ago. I am writing to you to see if you could tell me of any insurance company who I could try to get cheaper insurance off of as I find the above price a joke.
