Dublin Mid-West Car
Protest
Saturday
May 11th @ 6pm
& Friday May 17th @ 6pm
Assemble in the
Mill Shopping Centre Car Park, Clondalkin at 6pm
David Green is now officially
nominated to run as an Independent Candidate for the Dail on behalf of
MIJAG. The word on the street is that David will do well with positive
feedback coming from various workplaces, colleges etc. If David
gets a higher first preference vote than the Labour and Sinn Fein or Green
Party candidates then he could be in the race right to the end. As none
of these candidates are high profile, getting ahead and staying ahead
of them may well be a possibility.
To boost the campaign we have called two car protests in the Dublin Mid-West
area. Both will leave at 6pm from outside McDonalds in the car park of
the Mill Shopping Centre, Clondalkin. One is scheduled for next Saturday
11th and the other for polling day on Friday May 17th. We will spend two
hours driving through the area with cars covered in David Green election
posters. On 17th we will be concentrating on getting the vote out.
In order to avail of the free
post that each candidate gets, the campaign has had to borrow €1,700 to
pay for printing of leaflets. We would ask each of our supporters to do
the very simple task of putting a small amount of cash or a cheque in
the post to the David Green Election Fund c/o 78 Whitechurch Way, Dublin
16. All this money is being carefully accounted for in accordance with
the new Electoral Commission rules. Donations over €126 have to be
declared. Please include an e-mail address with the donation so that we
can save money
acknowledging donations.
