See below the full text of questions put down in the Dáil.
We welcome the questions being raised in the Dáil, but we cannot but miss
the irony of Pat Rabbitte asking questions when he was the last Minister
to have this job. He commissioned the "Deloitte and Touche Report"
which is now being quote as an excuse for in-action. This report costing
over £100k, managed to completely miss the point on this matter. In any
case asking financial consultants like Deloitte and Touche to comment
on the insurance industry is like asking the fox who should mind the chickens.
Insurance companies would be one of their biggest customers.
